What Botox Treats
Botox works by relaxing targeted facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles. This allows the overlying skin to appear smoother while maintaining natural facial expression.

How Botox Works
Facial lines develop from repeated muscle contractions such as frowning, squinting, or raising the eyebrows. Over time, this movement causes the skin to crease and fold.

Most patients are treated with approximately 75 units of neuromodulator, though exact dosing is always customized.
Botox for Neck Bands
Another area that our patients often ask about is the neck and those bands that stick out at times. These prominent bands are platysmal bands. They are caused by the thin neck muscle, known as the platysma, that can separate from a continuous smooth sheet of muscle, into separated bands, that become visible when we strain our necks at times. By treating these bands with Botox, they will be softened and minimized, to restore a more youthful appearance of the neck.
Botox for the Lip Flip
A lip flip is a subtle Botox treatment that relaxes the muscle around the upper lip. This allows more of the pink portion of the lip to show when smiling — enhancing shape without adding volume.
